What it can do

  • EXIF, XMP, colour and provenance information
  • Local image preview and inspection warnings
  • Copy or export an inspection as JSON

Current limits

Overview

PFx Image Inspector turns embedded image metadata into a focused inspection workspace.

Analysis happens locally, with the image source and structured metadata visible together instead of presenting the result as a long generic table.

Image metadata is dense, technical, and usually presented without hierarchy.

The tool needed to expose detailed metadata while keeping the source image, important findings, and raw data understandable in one view.

Treat metadata inspection as a visual analysis task.

The interface separates source, overview, detailed groups, and raw data while preserving the feeling that information is being extracted from the image itself.

A local inspection workspace for technical image data.

The application reads common metadata families and presents camera, color, GPS, profile, and file information without uploading the image.

A technical tool that remains readable enough for daily creative work.

Designers, artists, and developers can inspect an image and export the resulting data while the source remains on their device.
