A local browser tool for secure password and passphrase generation, entropy analysis, batch output, and compatibility controls.
Current release
Beta 0.1What it can do
- Character sets, exclusions and batch generation
- Passphrases from a locally loaded wordlist

Overview
PFx Password Lab is the public interface built on top of the separate pfx-password-core engine.
Generation happens locally and the application exposes the controls needed for passwords, passphrases, entropy, compatibility, and batch workflows.
Password tools often hide the tradeoff between randomness, constraints, and compatibility.
The application needed to keep strong generation as the default while making advanced controls understandable rather than decorative.
Separate the security engine from the interface.
The generation rules live in a dedicated core while the web application focuses on clear controls, feedback, and practical workflows.
A focused local interface for secure generation.
The tool supports passwords, passphrases, entropy analysis, constraints, batch generation, and compatibility options without sending generated values to a server.
A usable public tool backed by a reusable technical core.
The split keeps the interface replaceable while the generation logic can evolve and be reused independently.
Reusable foundations.
